LAWRENCE KANSAS 1800S COVER. A H FOOTE, ATTORNEY, TO WELLESLEY MASSACHUSETTS - POSTAL-HISTORY LAWRENCE KANSAS 1800S COVER. A. H. FOOTE, ATTORNEY, TO WELLESLEY MASSACHUSETTS

Interesting to see how the paper on this cover has aged...sort of a mottled effect. Foote was a prominent attorney in Lawrence. Also believe he was a judge and a Civil War hero.
